Harvested from naturally occuring growths on poplar trees, mappa burl wood is peppered with tight clusters that give it a decorative, bark-like appearance. Inspired by a vintage European style, the coffee table's six-pillared design features slab legs that provide ample surface area to show off the wood's unusual grain. The rectangular legs join at the outside of the table to float the top and give it an unexpected notched appearance.
