Named for a complex welding technique used to secure non-ferrous metals and copper alloys, our Tig dining chair embraces with a modern barrel design and a sophisticated mix of raw metals and intricate welds. ^ To master this complicated technique, we relied on a team of highly skilled craftsmen who specialize in a kind of wire weaving that's been passed along from generation to generation. Entirely handcrafted, each chair is made in three stagesframe construction, wire patterning and final weldingby expert metalsmiths. Once finished, the chair is given a light acid wash bath yielding a grey iron patina and subtle brass weld marks. Available alone or with a custom-made black or brown leather cushion.
