Made of carbon steel—an alloy of 99% iron and 1% carbon that's nearly indestructible—the baking sheet and rack feature a double layer of silicone-based non-stick coating that ensures easy release and quick cleanup. The baking sheet's superior heat conductivity promotes even cooking and consistent results, while the cooling rack elevates food for better air circulation. Used together, the pan and rack are ideal for fat-reduced bacon, dry-roasted tomatoes and crispy-crust flatbreads as well as for catching drips from drizzled frosting on cakes and cookies.
