Grandma was on to something with the timeless cast iron skillet, preferred by many chefs. With all the benefits of cooking with cast iron without the hassle of seasoning, this ready-to-use pre-seasoned pan gives that homespun cast iron appeal and solid performance. The process of seasoning is done with a proprietary, high-density vegetable oil formula that is sprayed on electrostatically and then heated in industrial-grade gas ovens to ensure deep penetration into the cast iron surface. Renowned for its superior heat retention, cast iron also keeps its cool to serve chilled salads, desserts and cold dishes—and this deep, lidded skillet is ideal for taking foods to picnics and potlucks. Can be used on induction ranges and ceramic cooktops. Because of its extremely high heat retention, cast iron is a versatile material that can be used on almost any heat source—even over a grill or campfire. From pan-fried fish to cornbread, and pizza to bacon and eggs, cast iron skillets, griddles, pans and woks cook up an outdoor feast. This heavy-duty cookware serves up sides, too.

Each piece of Lodge cast iron cookware is backed by the company's 120 years of experience.
