- Adjustable knob marked with the letter "S" adorns the top of the mill.
- Gear mechanism made from case-hardened steel treated to keep the teeth razor sharp and protect from corrosion and rust.
- Grind adjustment button: the tighter it is screwed, the finer the grind, and vice versa.
- Turn the head of the mill clockwise only. Turning left and right will only cause spices to go back up inside the mill instead of driving them down into the mechanism.
- You should use dry rock salts (white, pink, or blue) that are 4mm or less in diameter.
- Do not use sea salt, even dried.
- Use a soft, dry cloth to clean your Peugeot mill.
- Never use any cleaning agent or detergent.
- Do not expose the mill to humidity.
