Our Sassolino table by Athena Calderone looks to nature for its striking contemporary-meets-organic vibe. The concrete top takes its rounded shape directly from puddles and wave-sculpted rocks the designer spied at the seashore. Textured to resemble stone, the top rests on a bold pedestal clad in mappa burl veneer, prized for its naturally occurring wood grain swirls.
