How to protect outdoor furniture from weather and dust

While outdoor furniture in Dubai is rarely going to encounter extreme weather conditions, it may be susceptible to sun damage or become dusty if left out for too long. Our top tip: make sure your furniture is specifically designed for outdoor use. Choose materials that are fade-resistant, such as cushions and umbrellas made from the patented Sunbrella® material, which is both fade and mildew-resistant. 

If your cushions are not made from fade-resistant material then our advice is to use a spray-on fabric guard. If your soft furnishings do get wet then make sure they are dried thoroughly, and remember to ensure that the foam filling is properly dried, too.
Dust can quickly make your luxury outdoor furniture look dull. Wood and metal frames can be quickly and easily wiped down with a damp cloth to remove dust and dirt, while soft furnishings can be spot-washed with warm, soapy water, or carefully hand-washed. Remember, if your cushions and pillows are made from Sunbrella® material then you should avoid machine-washing them.
