Altamont Black 2-Drawer Nightstand

Our Altamont nightstand is all about the grain—the dramatic, cathedral-like arches that are characteristic of white ash. To amp up the natural dynamism of the wood, the ebony-stained nightstand is given an ivory ceruse finish, a centuries-old liming wax technique that lightens and draws out the grain in striking contrast. To enhance the nightstand's linear look, the wood grain runs horizontally along the waterfall frame, drawer fronts and reverse bullnose edges, going on the vertical to accentuate the oversized round pulls. A Crate and Barrel exclusive, the two-drawer nightstand is made of solid white ash and white ash veneer that's certified sustainable by the Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC).
