Each one of our Miru outdoor planters is fashioned from volcanic debris by communities affected by the 1991 eruption of Mount Pinatubo in the Philippines. Working with a mix of ash, stone, sand, resin and fiberglass, artisans shape the planters with rounded curves before finishing with alternating bands of smooth and pebbled texture. Since each vase is individually handcrafted from volcanic stone materials, planters will vary slightly in weight, color and size. Available in three sizes, the Miru volcanic stone planters are exclusive to Crate & Barrel.
