The monolithic, plinth-style end table devotes substantial surface area to the wood's beautiful vertical grain. In contrast, precisely assembled, oversized joints create a patchwork play of end grain in the checkerboard top and inset rectangles that enliven the sides.
Light wirebrushing and a low-sheen clear coat finish let the wood and workmanship shine.
