The Skottsberg frying pans have no non-stick coating. But with use, a natural non-stick coating develops. After every wash you grease the pans with a layer of oil. The pans have received a special treatment that gives them a unique texture that helps preserve the natural non-stick coating. Skottsberg also gave these pans a pre-treatment with oil at the factory so that you can use the pan immediately when you get home.
The handle is made of stainless steel and has a hanging eye. Therefore, the pan can also be used in the oven up to 220 degrees in order to let the dishes finish cooking. The pan should not go into the dishwasher. We recommend cleaning the pan with a sponge and water. These pans are supposed to stay a little greasy.
