Festive Holiday Décor: Ideas for Every Room in Your Home

It seems like this year has flown past, and we're knocking on the door of the festive season already. At Crate and Barrel, we love this time of the year because we can break out the festive décor and add some sparkle to our interiors. However, don't just save those festive decorations for the living room and hallway – every room deserves a holiday makeover. Here are our festive holiday décor ideas for every room in your home.

Hallways and entrances

Start things off with a wreath on the front door, announcing to visitors that you love to celebrate the festive season in this house. A simple wreath can be teamed up with garlands in the hallway to give a sense of continuity with your décor. You can personalise your wreath and garlands with your own festive flair, adding a dash of tinsel or some subtle baubles to bring a sparkle to your hallway. Living Room

Bedrooms

Bedrooms often get left out when it comes to festive décor, but not this year! This is a magical time of the year for the kids, so dress their rooms up with colourful decorations and Christmassy characters like wooden Nutcracker figurines and some holiday reindeer. Or give them their own little Christmas tree ornament that they can decorate themselves to feel included in the festivities. Finally, don't forget one of your biggest spaces: the garden. This is your chance to go all out with the twinkling lights – go for white fairy lights for a truly festive feel.
